We've done classes, trials, and races here at Run Wild (formerly known as Argus Ranch) and we always enjoyed our time here. They have great instructors and great facilities. We've taken a private barn hunt class here with Kelsey and she was great. I really appreciate the off leash potty areas for dogs to potty and run around for a few minutes. Lots of Port-a-potties for the humans, too. Lots of space for parking and RVs. It looks like the RV areas may have hookups, but I'm not positive since we didn't camp here.
We took our dog up for a CAT event put on by the Evergreen Basenji Club and he loved it. Weather was pretty awful but the event itself was great and the people were nice.
We are taking a Reactive Rover class. Brenna, our instructor is great, and we have already seen a huge improvement in our pup with how much more calm he is when we are out on walks.
They have all sorts of classes from basic training, to agility, to nose work.
Argus Ranch is the best facility for dog training. While I know they specialize in agility they have been fantastic helping me work with my reactive dog.
I signed up for puppy kindergarten and was very disappointed. First off - no directions when you arrive at this huge facility. I wandered around for 10-15 mins and found no one and no signs before stumbling upon the correct place. Puppy …
We greatly enjoy our dog sport classes at Argus ranch. That facility is awesome, the trainers are great and actually compete in the disciplines. They help me take my handling to the next level. Bonus: the staff is always willing to help point you to the right resource. For example, I was looking for a trainer for competition obedience, and Julie helped connect me to someone great. Wondering if your dog might enjoy a dog sport! Come try at Argus!
This facility is my new go to spot for dog sports. The trainer I used during barn hunt was fantastic. The environment is full of positive reinforcement and exciting energy. I can't wait to go back!
We did barn hunt and agility lessons here - great instructors! The location is unfortunately very out of our way, we drive over 2 hours each way to go here, so we only come during weekend competition trials. I recommend Argus Ranch to everyone interested in dog training and dog sports.
This is a great place for all things dog. I would give it give stars except the new owner appears to be struggling with running the facility and some basic maintenance and housekeeping is being overlooked.
Great establishment full of kind, helpful handlers. Worth the drive.
